A self taught lifetime student of music,
who also plays keyboards and drums, Jason studied voice at

Scott, who plays fretted and fretless four and five string acoustic bass, has over 20 years experience as a musician. He has played in several other bands including The Scene, Sixteen Tons, and the Whistle Pigs. Rumor has it he has played with some pretty famous musicians but he’s too modest for it to be mentioned here. Ask him about it sometime
If you are fortunate enough to catch the Jason Sapen Band on a weeknight you will very likely see Ed playing the congas. Ed has a full time job as drummer with P.S. Dump Your Boyfriend/Pfreak Show, who he has been with for 16 years, so his weekends are already filled. Ed likes playing with JSB because “they play the music I love, and it is refreshing to play with other musicians. These guys are incredibly talented.”
